Privacy Policy

Who are we

Our website address is: https://lsv.design.

What personal data do we collect and for what purpose

Comments

If a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user-agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (“hash”) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. Gravatar's privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. If your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media files

If you are a registered user and upload photos to the site, you may want to avoid uploading images with EXIF metadata, as they can contain your GPS location data. Visitors can obtain this information by downloading the images from the site.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account on the site and log into it, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser supports cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log into your account, we also set several cookies with login data and screen settings. Login cookies are stored for two days, and screen settings cookies are stored for a year. If you select “Remember me,” your login details will be stored for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.

When editing or publishing an article in the browser, an additional cookie will be saved. It does not contain personal data and only contains the ID of the record you edited, which expires in 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Such content behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited another site.

These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that site.

Web analytics

How long do we store your data

If you leave a comment, the comment itself and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This is done to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically, rather than holding them in a moderation queue.

For users registered on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their profile. All users can view, edit, or delete information from their profile at any time (except for their username). The website administration can also view and change this information.

What are your rights regarding your data

If you have an account on the site or have left comments, you can request an export file of the personal data we have stored about you, including the data you have provided. You can also request the deletion of this data, which does not include data that we are obligated to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where do we send your data

User comments may be checked by an automatic spam detection service.
