Interior design
Design (from English, translates as "project") Interior design is a special type of architectural design, as it involves the creation of a personal living space for a specific, unique person or family with their own preferences and daily routine, if it is a residential building or apartment. Or a comfortable space for work, treatment, training, and recreation, if it is an office, sports facility, or restaurant. In this type of activity, the architect has to be, in many ways, a psychologist, because they need to understand the client, their preferences, and moods. Often, it's not just one person, but also business partners, or a family consisting of a spouse, children, and other relatives, whose interests also need to be taken into account as much as possible.
This requires knowledge of current trends and finishing materials in this type of design, knowledge of ergonomics, a clear understanding of the sequence of work, the ability to understand the client, and experience in this area.
As in any type of design, there can be several stages in the development of an interior design project.
Stage 1Meeting with the client and site visit, taking measurements, task assignment, discussion of analogs and prototypes, preparation of the technical specification;
Stage 2Concept development and preliminary design execution, including room layout with furniture and equipment placement (including, if necessary, redevelopment work), as well as visualizations of the design proposals from multiple angles.
Stage 3execution of a detailed work project, which includes
– furniture and equipment layout plans;
– ceiling plans with lighting fixture and ventilation grille placement;
– plans for the placement of sockets, switches, and their distribution into lighting circuit groups;
- floor plan and heating devices;
– wall elevations showing all elements on them;
– drawings of necessary assemblies and parts;
– drawings of custom-made furniture.
Stage 4Author's supervision and support of the project implementation process to address issues arising during finishing works, or the selection of furniture and equipment. As well as competent adjustment of design solutions related to changes that inevitably arise during project execution.

The cost of interior design is calculated individually in each specific case and depends on many factors, such as the stylistic solution and the level of detail in the project.
Interior design costs: from 1050 UAH per 1 sq. m. of room area for the development of a working interior design project section AR with photorealistic visualizations and all necessary drawings.
