Every project has its own path and every project is unlike any other. This one had its own story too.
A married couple, after living for several years in rather solid, high-quality, and attractive interiors, wanted to change the atmosphere and update their bedrooms. It should be said that in this case, the husband and wife adhered to the rules of separate bedrooms, not a shared one.
The clients liked the Venetian style in the interior, so we followed their preferences, creating a rhythmic composition with pilasters and wood panels. The free wall sections between this decor were enhanced with various wallpapers from leading European manufacturers, which were supplied by our partners and friends at the VG Interior salon. We did not change the ceiling or the stucco molding beneath it—these remained untouched from the previous version of the interiors.
Our friends and partners, the firm Mill&Wood, were entrusted with redecorating these two bedrooms. They manufactured all the woodwork and completed the installation.
The interiors of men's and women's bedrooms look quite different. Therefore, even without explanations, it is possible to understand which one is male and which one is female.
The women's bedroom has more refined and delicate shapes and proportions of wooden decor. The wallpaper panels emphasize the presence of the feminine principle in this room and create a unique lace theme. The soft color palette of pastel shades also complements this feeling.
The men's bedroom differs in color scheme and the proportions of decorative wooden elements – pilasters, cornices, and panels. Here, a distinctly masculine beginning is evident in all interior elements compared to the wife's bedroom. More, massive, confident, as it should be in life.
