Due to the large number of wall panels and doors veneered in different directions, we wanted to call this project «Marquetry,» and that's what it was named.

This project was implemented in close collaboration with the client.

The most valuable works are often created with the direct involvement and in collaboration with the client, especially if they have good taste and make informed, well-considered decisions.

In this project, everything came together and turned out in the best way possible. All decisions were made jointly with constant author's supervision and project support.

Regular meetings, shopping trips to select materials and products, and communication with contractors are all integral components of a successful and quality project, which we are satisfied with.

And although some clients think that by taking nice pictures, they will now create a beautiful and timeless interior, this is not the case.

It actually turns out that without a lot of experience and certain knowledge, it's quite difficult to do.

Therefore, architectural supervision and support by the architect, the project's author, has not been canceled by anyone.

There was an excess of this on the given object. Therefore, the result was very impressive, and we plan to have a photoshoot at the finished object in the near future. We will definitely share the photos.

Initially, the apartment had two loggias, which were connected to the apartment's premises during the planning stage – in the living room, this turned into a kitchen area, and in the bedroom, it resulted in an enlarged room.

Although a full family of three already lives in this apartment, the interior has turned out to be quite characteristic with a masculine feel and mood.

Living room area

The hall, living room, and kitchen areas have been combined into a single studio space with a unified style and color scheme. Natural wood, porcelain stoneware tiles with a stone texture, and antique bricks from a demolished old building create a harmonious, calm atmosphere for a modern interior with a touch of loft.

Hallway

Kitchen-dining area

The kitchen area is separated from the living room by a unique portal, formed on one side by a reinforced concrete column clad in wooden panels, and on the other side, a symmetrical functional element was created – a pantry for kitchenware.

Thus, the kitchen is separated from the living room and at the same time successfully integrated into the overall space. The window deserves special attention. Since the apartment has a completely southern orientation, the problem of sun protection was very relevant, and for this purpose, external roller blinds – electric external blinds, were used, which very effectively protect the apartment from overheating on hot days. This solution was used for the first time in our practice.

Very easy-to-care-for and beautiful materials such as natural stone, porcelain stoneware tiles, acrylic kitchen cabinet fronts, stainless steel, and glass wall panels are key to hygiene and ease of use.

Bedroom

In the bedroom, a composition of a wardrobe and a sleeping area in the form of a furniture niche was organized. The depth of the niche was reduced relative to the full depth of the wardrobes for the emotional comfort of those lying in bed.

A mirror-clad wall protrusion opposite the bed adds depth and volume to an already spacious room. The presence of brick lends a soft and civilized loft feel. An asymmetrical dresser, combined with a vanity console, unifies the mirror and the brickwork.

The window, spanning the width of the room, is also equipped with external roller shutters. The remaining walls are finished with decorative plaster.

Bathroom

The en-suite bathroom, finished with porcelain stoneware tiles featuring a travertine texture laid in various directions, complemented by picturesque wood-effect tiles from the renowned La Fabrika brand, creates an atmosphere of warm comfort and cleanliness. LED lighting in recessed niches allows for use of the bathroom without turning on the main lights. The loft-style brickwork did not reach this area.

Children's

The nursery speaks for itself. A boy is meant to live here. And everything is provided for him here: physical education, games, learning, and cozy sleep.

We will show the guest bathroom and toilet in the photos, as the creative process for these rooms happened on-site.
