This isn't exactly a traditional project for us, creating a full-scale “showroom” on the facade of a warehouse building at the request of our long-time friends and partners – the firm “KMD Fasade Solutions”.
The guys at a high level are involved in supplying aluminum glazing systems for buildings, modern facade cladding materials, as well as various substructures for these materials.

The building itself is also interesting. Initially, it was a building of the KHEMZ (Kharkiv Electrical Machine-Building Plant) in Kharkiv, built in the 1930s using American design and technologies.
Very unusual concrete load-bearing frame structures and even steel grades and markings of various metal structures are not from our Soviet locality.
It seems a lot was brought in from abroad.
A glass pyramid skylight on the roof offers a very beneficial solution for lighting and psychological comfort.
After a challenging reconstruction job, a very comfortable, functional, and beautiful space has been created, and after cladding, the facade will be beautiful, striking, and presentable! :)
On Google Maps, the KMD logo will appear after the next satellite imagery update because it is made on the roof with a multicolored roofing membrane.

In addition, night lighting also had to be proposed.
The building is currently operational and is scheduled for cladding.
Facade work was planned for 2022.
However, Russia's full-scale invasion unfortunately postpones further development of the project until Ukraine's victory.
